my week while everyone was in Quebec was pretty ok not bad but it wasn't the best we had some good times like dancing in the music room thanks to Aleeysha's ipod and we will never forget Marco the broom that Sophia danced with and we worked alot on the board WELCOME BACK WE MISS YOU! you welcome and the skit with mr.Ng

Maria and Aleeysha/ February 8 ,2013

       This morning me (Maria), Aleeysha and Sophia cleaned up Mr. Ng's office. Aadilah and Mme. Atchison didn't go to school today. We spent an hour cleaning Mr. Ng's office. Mrs. Klassen gave us gloves so we could clean up his office because she said it was really messy!! Around 10:00 we were setting up the gym for the assembly. In the assembly there was 2 trivia show made by grade 4/5's. The trivia shows were called 'sports trivia' and 'Celebrity trivia.'
    
Après midi, nous avons aidé Mme.Doolan avec les laptops et nous avons fait les "action schools"
 avec les sixème annee. Nous avons joué 'Hug Tag" et tout les filles détest cette joue parce que tout les garcons aime 'hug'. Apres nous avons dit les blagues de 'knock knocks'.

Aujourd'hui moi (Sophia), Aleeysha et Maria ont nettoyé le bureau de M. Ng, nous avons nettoyé pour une heure et c'est plus propre! Après nous avons aidé Mme Klassen a fait les chaises dans la gymnase pour l'assemblée. nous avons joué un jeux de les célébrités comme One Direction et aussi des sports comme l'hockey. nous avons aussi regardé la quatrième année qui a présenté le chanson "I gotta a Feeling" par les Black Eyed Peas mais ils ont changé les mots.

today i helped cleaning up the lost and found i found some weird things like underwear ewwwwwww but i cleaned it up thanks to me while sophia and Maria and Aleeysha cleaned mr. Ng's office and i got to play a game with the grade 6 class.

Aujourd'hui je aide a nettoyer l'ecole et nous jouons un jeu qui s'appelle hug tag je n'aime et je alerte sophia et aleeysha et elles sont très fachée et nous installer le chaise pour le assemble et je film les 4ieme année chanter un chanson qui s'appelle "i like to read".

Aujourd'hui nous sommes allés dans la classe de musique et nettoyé la classe pendant que nous avons écouté la musique et (Moi)Sophia a dansé beaucoup avec un balai qui s'appelle Marco et Aleeysha prend des photos de Moi(Sophia). Moi, Aleeysha, Jass sont allés à la classe de Mme. Hogg et aidé avec leur travailles et nous avons joué avec eux les élèves sont gentils


When we arrived at school and the bell rang me(Aadilah) Aleeysha, Maria, Sophia and Jass
had to help Mr.Okada. Then we went to the kindergarten class. They are so cute. Me (Aadilah) and Maria  went to Miss. Eppler's classroom, me and Maria also lunch monitor that class. They did little
projects like the groundhog and chiense new years, after it was freetime for them we were playing
games with them  like blocks, house, puppets and toys and more games. Then we went out for recess,
we came in and had our snacks after went back to there class.
Then after they had there VIP go in front of the class and talk about the calendar.
Then Miss Eppler read a story to the class. They went back to the tables and played with cubes(math) what they did was put the cubes in an even way.
Then they had there lunch and we went and had our lunch.

Aujourd'hui, nous sommes allés au Sugar Shack pour voir comment faire le sirop d'érable. J' (Hannah) ai acheté du sirop d'érable, de la beurre du sirop d'érable et la popcorn du sirop d'érable, J'ai (Nicki) acheté deux suçons de sirop d'érable et la buerre de sirop d'érable. Ensuite, nous sommes allés au discothèque et nous avons dansé BEAUCOUP!!!!!!!!!!

Today we went to the sugar shack, or in french it is known as (la Cabane a Sucre). We got a demonstration on how to take the syrup out of the tree and then we got to taste the maple butter and it was amazing!!! We enjoyed a wonderful meal and put maple sirop on everything. (Even water) We got to have sirop poured over snow which is called de la tire in french. On the bus ride home almost everybody slept because we just had a sugar crash.

    The most exciting thing that we did today was cleaning the band room while some music was playing. Sophia kept on dancing with the broom that is called "Marco" and now Sophia is " dating" Marco. After we were done cleaning the band room Maria, Jass and, Aadilah and Sophia started to dance to Kiss You by One Direction .    
    Mme. Atchison n'est pas dans l'école aujourd'hui. Devant la dîner moi (Maria) et Aadilah vont dans la classe de Mme. Eppler pour aider les petits enfants. Nous sommes aidé les petits enfants pour ses maths, et les arts. Aujoud'hui c'est un très bon jour!

today we went to the class of mrs. Hogg and helped with their journals and listend to the VIP being interviewed. i had to wear a dress for the girls and played as a princess. After lunch we went to the band room and cleaned up while dancing to music and Sophia was dancing with a broom named Marco.

     Today Me(Aleeysha), Sophia and Aadilah help madame put up the art in the office. While Sophia was stapling the art she hit her finger many times it was really funny. After recces we helped Mr.Ng with a play about the chinese new year i didn't do that much (as always). Then Sophia and I went to go play with the kindergartens.






   Aujolourd'hui moi (Maria) et Jass aidé Mme Klassen dans la bureau pour faire des chaise parce que il y a des chaise dans les boîtes.Nous avons besoin d'ouvrir les boîtes et met les lettres 'CH' sur tout les chaise (je pense que c'est il y a 50 et plus chaises!!) Après la recré, moi (Maria),Jass, Sophia, Aleeysha et Aadilah ont besoind aller dans la bibliothèque parce que M. Ng besoin d'aide. Nous avons pensé que nous avons just mi les livres mais non, nous avons besoin de fait 'STINGER'S THEATRE' devant les classe de Mme. Eppler et Mme Hogg. Après la dîner moi (Maria) et Jass fait la recyclage.

L'erablier etait tres amusant avec tout le sucre. Au souper, nous avons mis le sirop d'erable sur toutes les choses. Dans l'eau, sur les sauccissons, les crepes et beaucoup d'autres choses. Apres le souper nous avons dance les dances internationelles et joue aux "spoons". Aussi apres le souper, nous sommes alle au discotheque  de glace.

After we ate our dinner and went to the ice club, we had maple syrup on snow then we rolled it on a stick and ate it. After we ate the maple syrup, we were all hyper and then we went to a museum. The museum was filled with fake animals but they looked real. It was really cool and the food was really good. I wished we had something like this at home.

ALLO!!!!! Aujourd'hui nous sommes alles a la caban a sucre. Quand nous sommes arrives je pouvais sentir le sucre dehors. Quand nous sommes entrés dans la caban, ils nous a donne du beurre d'érable. J'aime ca! Depuis nous avons acheté des choses. Apres, nous sommes alles au  restaurant et la nourriture est tres bonne.


After eating really good food at the restaurant we went to the little museum. The little museum had lots of animals like a bear, fox, lynx, birds, etc. It was so interesting learning about those animals. I really liked learning about the bear. They showed fur of the bear, It looked so cool!

Hi,

Today we went to the sugar shack it was so much fun, we had tons of maple syrup, the people at Ana's table used up 10 bottles of maple syrup! It was insane. For supper at the sugar shack there were three courses.The 1st was split-pea soup, the next was an all you could eat buffet made up of sausage, baked beans, home fries, a meat pie called tourtière, some sort of quiche, and a couple other dishes. All of it was really good. After that the third courses was crepes which were really, really, good.

Après tout cela nous dansions beaucoup, la plupart du temps nous avons danse une sorte de danse traditionelle québécoise. Apres nous sommes alles a un discotheque de glace. Nous dansions beaucoup, c'etait tres drole. Il y avait des lumiere de couleur et un mur de glace. C'etait tres interressant. Nous avons aussi fait de la tire, c'etait tres bon avec de la neige. C'etait comme sirop d'erable, mais c'etait solide et tres collant. Nous en avons fait beaucoup. En tout c'etait un soiree delicieuse! Miam!

Aujord'hui nous sommes allés au musée pour apprendre les nouveaux choses de l'histoire. Dans une exposition qui s'appellait "samaurï" nous avons appris quelques choses au sujet des Japonais. Aussi nous avons fait des choses au cirque. Les choses que nous avons fait etaient le trampoline et une chose qui s'appellait "freefall".

My favourite thing today was going to the circus. It was my favourite because we did lots of jumps and twirls. My main reason is because at the end of the circus I got brought up while they were showing us what they could do and they were throwing bowling pins right in front of my face. When I grow up I want to work in the circus!

ALLO! Aujourd'hui nous sommes alles au musee. Il y avait beaucoup de gens et d'ecoles au musee. C'etait tres interesant d'apprendre des Japonais. Apres aller au musee, nous sommes partis pour l'ecole de cirque. Nous avons fait beaucoup de choses gymnastiques et il y avait quelques unes qui etaient tres difficiles. Mais, j'aime les choses  difficile.

My favourite activity that we did today was going to the circus school. We did so much gymnastic stuff like flips, climbing, balance and so much more. The school Sunshine Hills joined us in the circus school. Our teacher was a really old person but he was really good in gymnastics. But he broke his arm so he couldn't really show us any tricks to be honest. But it was really fun.

                                  Le Caban de Sucre 

 Today we went to the Caban de Sucre it was so sweet I'm not kidding Mr. Levenstein was telling everyone maple syrup on everything. By the time we were about to leave we were on our 10 bottle of maple syrup. I barely had any my body can only have so much maple syrup at one time. They were drinking it directly. OKAY LADIES AND GENTLEMAN PHOENIX R. WITH THE FRENCH PARAGRAPH OF THIS BLOG. 

Bonjour, Je suis parles de qu'est que nous faisons aujourd'hui. Nous  avons aller a la Caban de sucre pour manger et apprend le information de faire le sucre d'érable. Premier nous fait la magasinage dans la caban de sucre, deuxième nous mangeons la sauvage, les pommes de terre, la jambon, le jus, les béants, et c'est la nourriture comme nous mangeons pour la souper. Après nous dansons pour trente minutes. Nous mangeons de la tire pour la dessert et regardons la musée d'animaux et après le conducteur à parle de ne pas dé bonbons sur l'autobus. Maintenant c'est la fin de jour.

  Today we went to the sugar cabin it was really fun. I bought a bottle of maple syrup and and maple syrup tea. We also had a really good dinner our table finished 10 bottle of maple syrup. For dinner we    had hash browns, sausage, pork, bread ham and lots of maple syrup and for desert we had pancakes. After we went outside and there was a little small party area and there was music playing it was really fun.-Peter

Durant la souper nous avons dansé et fait toutes sortes de choses amusantes.  Après la souper nous avons fait plus de danse. Quand c'était fini nous avons mangé de la tire .

Aujourd'hui nous avons fait un jeux avec les marternels. M. Ng a lit un livre pour le nouveau an chinois  . Jass est Chi- Chong Maria est le grand-père et un autre maternels et M. sing, Jass est un très bon acteur. Après le livre, nous avons aidé les gens pour cherchent ses livres. Moi (Sophia) et Aleeysha sont allées à la classe de les maternels pour aider et jouer avec eux.

Today we also helped Mme with the art projects. So Me(Aadilah) Aleeysha and Sophia
worked in the the pod were are class is. What we did was took down the band poster and put new borders, papers. Then we did the boards that are class
uses. We did the same thing there put new borders and paper . I was helping Mme with the paper and she asked me to staple the paper becuase it was closer to me and when i was stapling I banged my wrist on the stapler it hurt alot. My wrist was all red. Maria and Jass were putting the art projects in the frames that are in the office. They also organized the chairs. By the time we were all done it was time for recess.

Today we are going to talk about our thoughts of the sugar shack;

I played the wooden spoons

Natasha - We got to the shack about 4:00 pm. Then all of us got off the bus and went to the shack. There we learned how maple syrup was made. Then we got to taste some maple taffy. It was awesome. Then we bought some maple syrup food (like maple butter and chocolates.) After that we got to go have food! There was plenty of maple syrup for everyone. I loved the meal, we had lots of syrup (after all, we were at the sugar shack!) There was a violinist and we danced to the music and some people (not naming any names...) got drunk on  syrup. This will be a night to remember. Sometimes you remember the most crazy things and this is one of them. Example: Dorothie and Madie were dancing togther and they are enemies.

J'ai mange le sirop d'erable

Catherine - Aujourd'hui, nous sommes alles a la cabane de sucre. Nous avons mange du sirop d'erable, c'est tres delicious. En premier, nous sommes arrive et avons ecoute une madame disait comment faire le sirop d'erable. Apres nous avons mange le souper, mais avant de manger, la classe a danse au milieu et un homme a joue de la musique pendant qu'ils sont dansaient. Apres, nous avons mange et la classe etait tres folle. Mais quelque personnes etaient normales. Puis, nous sommes alles dehors pour danser tres fort et apres nous avons mange le sirop d'erable dans la neige.

   Today, we went to the sugar shack in the afternoon.  We ate and learned how to harvest the sap from the trees, and about the way they boil it into the maple syrup.  After, we got to try the amazing syrup and it was good!  We had lots of food for dinner and it was really good except for the eggs (Gavin's point of view).  While we ate they had some music playing.  Most of the music was played by a guy who played the violin.  Now you might think that these were our favourite activities.  However, they're not.  Our favourite was the dancing that occurred after we ate.  La danse était à côté du restaurant, dans une grande région.  Il avait des lumières qui brillent partout et un mur de glace.  Il avait des chansons de radio et des chansons françaises.  On dansais fort et quelques personnes chantaient. Nous nous sommes amusés tellement bien! Puis on a fait notre propre bonbon.  C'était amusant aussi!  Le Sugar Shack était vraiment un bon site de visiter et que c'était un bon endroit pour avoir des bonbons!

 Aujourd'hui nous sommes allés à la Cabin à Sucre et nous avons apprit comment ils extraient le sirop d'érable et le processus de l'extraction jusqu'à la bouteille. après çela, nous avons gouté la beurre d'érable. Nous sommes allés à au restaurant pour souper, nous avons mangé de la soupe, des haricots, de la salade et pour le dessert nous avons mangé des crêpes aver beaucoup de sirop d'érable sur touted les choses. Après qu'on a mangé nous avons dancé et fait de la musique. Je me suis amusé beaucoup aujourd'hui.

Today we went to the sugar shack and we got to roll Popsicle sticks in snow and syrup. It was very fun. Everyone was hyper so after they took us to this ice club that was just outside of the sugar shack to burn of some energy. We also danced and ate alot of stuff such as potatoes and crêpes. It was very good. I think I might not be able to sleep as good tonight cause i will be all hyped up on sugar.

Today we went to a circus. It was really fun and we went there with sunshine hills. My groups instructeurs name was Micheal. He was really fun and he made every thing seem more interesting than it really was but it was still interesting. He gave everyone nicknames My nickname was skinny boy. some of the different stations that we did were working on balance and rock climbing. my favorite activity was when we got to climb the poles,hahaha.-Stephen                       

Aujourd'hui nous sommes allés a l'école de cirque. Il y avait beaucoup de choses interéssantes comme grimper la Roche, mats de grimpe et la trampoline. Mon activitie préferée c'etait la trampoline. Après nous avons fait un jeu de roles de jeu. Mon role etait un garçon qui travaillait beaucoup. -Peter

     Today we went to the Sugar Shack. It was probably the best part of the trip so far for us.  We arrived at around??  We enterendthat kinda smelled like maple syrup. This lady that worked there told us the story of how maple syrup was made in the old times.  They got maple syrup out of trees by sticking pointy needles into maple trees.  Something like that.

     Après nous achèté des souviners. Le Sugar Shack a une petite boutique et nous avons tous achèté des petits souviners. Les souviners dans le Sugar Shake parce que tous les choses qu'ils ont vendu sont en franchise d'impôt. Très bon pour nous parce qu'on a déjà achèté beaucoup de choses dans la Vieux Québec. Après, nous avons mangé le souper.  Ils ont donné nous beaucoup de nourriture.  La meilleuse partie de tous la nourriture est que tu dois met du syrup d'erable.  La nourriture est très douce si tu n'ajoute pas.  Ils ont donnésoupe, du pain, des fèves au lard, pommes de terre, jambon, saucisses, pâté à la viande, des crêpes et des couennes de porc. Yum!

   We had a great day in Quebec.  The weather was nice, as usual, giving us a great feeling.  Our favourite activity we did was the École du Cirque du Soleil.  It was pretty cool; we did the trampolines, the trapise, the cordination activities and the balancing activities.  Gavin's favourite activity we did was the trampolines which Log wasn't that great at.  The first time I went I jumped to far and flew into the instructor.  Now I present the o-mighty Log Lin.  Log's favourite activity was the big track.  On the track, we had to jump over pads and we had to conquer free falls.  It was pretty scary at first but once I got it, it was not too difficult. 

  Ce soir, nous avons fait un sketch.  Pendant le sketch, nous apprendions des nouvelles expressions.  Elles étaient bizarres parce que certaines expressions n'avaient pas de sens. Par exemple, "Quoi de neuf?"  Quoi de neuf ne veut pas dire qu'est-ce que c'est le neuf mais "What the heck".  Nous avons appris aussi un type de nourriture que les Québecois mangent.  C'est le plat chinois et nous voyions des images de ce plat.  Alors, nous avons eu une excellente journée aujourd'hui!

     Today was lots and lots of fun!  We did so much that I can just remember it all. We decided that our favourite activity of today was the Sensory Walk which we did during the night when it was pitch black. Aaahh😱!!!  It scared lots of us.  All of us walked from Auberge to the deep forest and we all tried to scare each other.  After around five minutes of walking, we stopped for a moment of listening to the sounds. For example, the wind, the snow falling, twigs cracking and people sneezing and farting (*cough cough* Kieran).  We also did an exercise where in the pitch black we had to figure out what colour of ball Fannie was holding. For the most part, we did well.

     Un par un, on va au feu de camp pour avoir des guimauves et chanter les chansons.  Quand on marche, moi et Meghan ont eu un peu peur.  On a chanté beaucoup qu'on déja sais, et quelques qu'on ne sais pas.  On etait suprise quand les animateurs avait dit qu'on va manger les marshmallows.  Aussi, nos animateurs avait dit des histoires qui sont "vrai".  Je ne pense pas qu'il y a des personnes qui pense que l'histoire est vrai, mais c'est okay.

Bonsoir, mes amis.

First of all (in English) I'm terribly sorry for the fact that we didn't post a thing and now suddenly there's five. I saved the reports as drafts but I didn't publish them. A mistake on my/DJS' part and I know we're going to get marks docked off for that, but don't do it to Jovan, because it wasn't his fault and it was mine/DJS'.

En français maintenant. Notre sujet est notre experience avec la cabane à sucre.

DJS: Je pense que la cabane à sucre était okay - pas mal; mais pas bon. Oui, j'ai aimé le sirop d'érable, mais je n'ai pas aimé le petit 'night club'. Les garçons étaient 'girlaphobic'. :/

Jovan: Je pense que la cabane à sucre était bonne avec le petit 'night club' et des chansons et des lumières qui étaient bleues, vertes et rouges.

The thing that I learned today was french expressions such as "pentoute" which means "not really". We also learned alot of other expressions that I can't remember. My favourite activity today was probably the circus. We went with Sunshine Hills to the circus and that kind of made it crowded in the place but it was still alot of fun. We were flipping of mats and jumping off trampolines like crazy.

La chose que j'ai appris de Québec c'est une expression qui dit "pentoute", en anglais ça veut dire "not really". J'ai appris ça quand on faisait des skits avec des mots français qu'on avait besoin d'utiliser. Mon activité préféré qu'on a fait aujourd'hui c'était Le Cirque de Québec. Nous avons fait beaucoup de choses que j'ai jamais fait comme les trampolines, les trapèzes et il y avait une station d'équilibre qui consister des monocycles, des cordes, et des hoola hoops. Donc aujourd'hui était une très bonne journée pour moi.

Today, we all went to the sugar shack it was awesome first we went to the gift shop and bought souvenirs like fresh syrup and lollipops made out of syrup it was very yummy! Then, we went to the restaurant the tables were small so we had to split up. Mr. Levenstien's table had 10 bottles of syrup finished they put the syrup on everything for example potatoes, pig ears which were we think an acquired taste. but my table only had 3 and a half. Just to let you know Mr. Levenstien's table all had stomach aches it was pretty funny pouring it on everything and putting it in there water!

Aussi aujourd'hui nous sommes allés à l'hôtel de glâce c'était très très beau mais c'était très froid. Les chambres avaient beaucoup de détails mais c'était -5 dègres dans le chambres tu es supposé de porter beaucoup de couvertures. Nous sommes allés au magasin de souvenirs. Il y avait un sac à main qui coutait 200 cent dollars. C'était bizare parce que le sac est laid.

Bonjour aujourd'hui nous avons fait beaucoup de choses comme des activités pour survivre dans une fôret et nous avons fait de la raquette. La raquette est mon activité favorie. J'aime ça parce que je suis très bon.  C' était  amusante parce que beaucoup de personnes sont tombés tout le temps et Aash est tombé plus que les autres personnes. Apres ça nous avons fait un rondonné pendant la nuit et nous avons fait un GRAND FEU-Stephen





  Today we did many fun activities like snow shoeing and walking in the forest at night and having a fire. But my favourite activitie today was snow shoeing. I fell a lot, at one point we were at a top of a small hill, I fell over and went straight down the hill headfirst. -Peter

Aujourd'hui nous sommes alle´s au Cirque de Soleil et nous avons joue sur les appareils des carnivales, nous avons fait des choses amusantes. Apres nous sommes alle´s a l'Auberge pour rester et pour manger le diner, est c'etait la fin de la journee.

aujourd'hui moi Maria et Sophia fait une jeu pour les matérnale say bien je suis ching chong Maria est la grand père et Sophia est peapee.   je tombe beaucoup dans le fin jeu je  étreindre Sophia :/  Nous avons fait le jeu 3 fois les enfants aime le jeu beaucoup et regard un vidéo de un dragon.

WE also got to unpack the new chairs fun right but flatining the box's was really amusing but itsall in a days work we went to go recycle outside and the lock got stuck i mean really took us 5 minutes to fix it or should i say Maria to fix it anyways we miss you when i say we i mean the girls hope to see you soon .

    Today, among the may great activities the Auberge had planned for us, the 2 that stood out the most for us were the Sensory Hiking and the Snow Showing. During the sensory hike, we got the chance to listen to the "sounds of nature". On way up the mountain, everyone was was falling and certain people were scaring everyone. (Hem hem, Mateo and Kieran) I, Hannah fell about 5 times but it was still fun. We all got the chance to walk down the trail by ourselves in the dark. (Dun dun duuuuun!) We had a campfire, where we had marshmallows and Guillaume told us a story about a small man with a funny voice.

     On avait fait de la raquette et c'était très fatiguant. On avait un malfunction avec nos raquettes. Elles etaient brises. Nous sommes tombees au moins 15 fois. J' (Nicki)  ai brise un arbre quand je suis tombee. Quand nous sommes revenus a l'Auberge, presque tout la monde s'endormait.

Natasha and Catherine - Feb. 5, 2013

 Today we learned about the culture of Quebec. We learned that the food they eat are maple syrup, poutine, and Shepard's pie, or aka 'Chinese pie'. We also learned about the city called Gaspésie. Our class made skits about the culture of Québec. We were both on the same team, there was also Ana, Dorothie, Meghan and Pheonix.

Nous sommes allées à l'école de cirque. Quand nous sommes arrivées, nous avions peur parce que c'était très grand. Nous avons enlevé nos souliers et mis nos vêtements de sport, après nous sommes rechauffées. Puis nous avons formé dans des petite groupes.

Catherine - J'aime le trampoline parce que c'était très amusant de sauter. Le défit le plus difficile était quand je suis tombée à l'envers, c'était comme si tu allais mourir. J'ai aussi aime l'unicycle mais je fait ça très mal.

Natasha - I don't know what was my favorite part of the circus. I loved walking on the barrels that moves as you walk to the side. I got so good that I could sort of run to the other side. I also liked the trampoline and doing tricks on it. I got good at the cylinder and board, I could stay on it for 17 seconds with out hands.

         Aujourd'hui on a appris des nouvelles expressions quebecoises. L'expression qu'on pense qu'on va utiliser la plus souvent est moe et toe. Nous avons fait un skit et on avait  besoin d' utiliser un endroit, un metier, un nom de famille, des nouvelles expressions et certains mots de vocab. Nous avons porte des costumes tres droles, par exemple Mateo a porte une drole robe blanche, et Hannah en a porte aussi.


Today was the best day in Quebec for me (Nicki). Today we went to (drum rolling sounds......) The Cirque School!!!!! We combined our class with the other school from delta "Sunshine Hills". We got to learn how to walk on a tight rope, go on a trapeze, jump on trampolines, ride unicycles, and balance on moving barrels. I, (Nicki), had to demonstrate for almost all my stations. We all enjoyed our circus day!!!!!

Hello!

Today we we're at the Auberge the whole day. Our favourite part of the day was when we went hiking. It was really dark and cold. We weren't allowed to bring anything that lights up. Strangely enough it was really fun. We had to guess the colour of three balls to test our night vision. We also had to be alone for a minute in the dark to listen to the sounds of nature. It was scary but fun. Then we had to walk alone in the dark to get to the campfire.

Une autre partie qu'on aimait bien était le feu de camp, pendant ce temps là Guillaume (notre animateur) nous a reconté une histoire qu'il a dit etait "bien vraie" ( '_')? (Je pense que c'est de la fabrication.) Après que Guillaume a finit de recontrer toute l'histoire  Fannie  (notre animatrice) nous a donne des guimauves pour qu'on puis les rotir dessous du feu. C'etait tres amusant.

Hi everybody,

What we learned at Quebec was that there is a lot of people working in forests. We made a skit today, and afterwards we saw a powerpoint presentation. It was about the history of Quebec and popular jobs, food, and cities in Quebec. Most jobs in the forest include woodcutting, mining and fishing. We found that very interesting because Toronto and Quebec are very popular cities and we thought that they'd be
more industrial jobs.


La partie  que j'aimait le mieux du sejour doit etre l'ecole de cirque. Chez l'ecole de cirque ma partie favourite etait le monocyclisme. L'autre etait le trapeze dans ce photo je me suis assit sur une petite barre souspendue des cordes, et ce n'etait pas aussi facile que ca semblait. Ca prenait beaucoup d'equilibre.  En tout  c'etait le meilleur sejour dans l'histoire du monde!

                                           Day At Auberge

Today we didn't go away from l'auberge not at all barely 10000 feet away from l'Auberge other than going up a mountain, yeah that reminds me we went snow snowshoeing it was really fun. I fell down a lot here let me show you.

Yeah I fell down a lot I actually almost fell of a cliff luckily Meghan and Log caught me. YAY, so after we started building forts out of wood that we saw on the ground heres one that me, Phoenix, Peter, Stephen, Log, et Jovan.
    We even added a slide well Phoenix did by accident he fell and made one it is on the left hand side of our fort.

 Bonjour, je vais parler de ce que nous avons fait aujourd'hui. Nous etudions des choses pour survivre dans la forêt comme faire un abri et un feu. Moi, Aash, Jovan, Peter, Log et Stephen, avons fait un abri de bois mais c'était petit. Après nous avons fait le feu dehors de notre abri. Nous mangions le diner et après nous avons fait un randonnée dans la forêt pour 2 heures. Nous mangions la pizza pour le souper et après nous sommes allé dans la forêt dans la nuit et fait des chansons autour de le feu et après nous sommes retourné à l'Auberge pour dormir et maintenant c'est la fin de la journeé.

Aujour'hui nous avons  des skits avec des cartes  des cultures de Quèbec. Aussi nous sommes allés au Cirque De Soliel. C'etait un peu bizare parce que un viel homme a touche Maddy.V beaucoup c'etait un peu different! Selon Maddy et moi l'activite prefere etait le Cirque De Soleil parce que il y avait beaucoup de choses que tu pouvait faire comme la trampoline, trapize, juggeling, monter des poles! Aujourd'hui nous nous sommes reveilles à 6h45. On etait trés fatigueé ce matin mais c'etait une bonne journee. 

Today we also when on a ferry that was very cool, it broke through ice. But it was very cold because we were on the water outside on a ferry. For pretty much the whole way back most of us were inside buying food and warm drinks from the vending machines. It was very cold today about -30 and yesterday was about -25. 

Et une autre chose qu'on a fait etait le musee, c'etait interessant! Il y  avait beaucoup de choses a regarder. Et aussi beaucoup de personnes parce que c'est une grande place avec beaucoup de choses a faire. La derniere chose qu'on a fait etait le dance c'etait amusant la premiere fois mais apres nous avons fait jeu amusant.

Report #5 - DJS and Jovan - 05/022013

Bonsoir, mes lireurs (euses)

DJS ici, Jovan avec moi. Je ne sais pas notre sujet, mais ici est un journal des eventes d'aujourd'hui.

Premier, nous avons déjeuné; puis nous prenions l'autobus au traversier qui traverse le rivière St Laurent. Puis nous avons visité le Musée des Civilisations, et puis l'École des Cirque. Ceci était bon.

Et après ça, nous sommes retournés à l'Auberge pour souper et nous avons dansé dans le gymnase. "Square dancing" en anglais. C'était pas amusant, les garçons ont l'air que ils déteste les filles et ils sont gérmaphobiques. Ugh.

Et je sais notre sujet est deux choses: mon activité préféré, et qu'est-ce j'ai appris?

Moi (DJS), mon activité préféré est le sommeil, l'art de dormir. Jovan dit que son activité préféré est la musée. J'ai aussi appris que beaucoup des personnes en Québec savent l'anglais. Il y a aussi beaucoup d'anglais dans Québec soit-même. Mon père a menti à moi. >.>Jovan dit qu'il a appris au sujet des samuraïs.

Maddy.V and Madie.M mon,Feb,4th

Our favourite part of the trip so far is Le Carnaval De Québec parce que Madie.M marrié une vielle homme c'était très drôle. Mais aussi bien parce que des dancers dans le glace château c,était très amussant des dancers parlé beaucoup de anglais mais trop de français aussi!

Today we also loved going out in the woods and building forts with what was there, then making a fire. Then we came back to auberge and played games also listened to a presentation about stars and the planets with jean-pierre. After we had dinner it was very good especilly the dessert.

Après le dîner nous sommes allé à l'exterieur pour une feu avec des s'mores! Est giome dit une drôle histoire mais tout le ton des petites feu volé dans l'air donc tout les personnes placer des bras dans l'air et frappé tout les feu c'était drôle.

Ma Journee
Bonjour, Moi(Aadilah), Maria, Aleeysha, Sophia et Jass en tout a l'ecole aujoud'hui.
Nous sommes fait les meme chose que hier. M'est nous sommes a dans la bibliotheque.
La journee ete comme pour travail du matin la page s'appelle "Banana Split"
Apres nous fait le Francais (lecon #2.) Puis nous a aider Mme. Doolan dans la bibliotheque
et aider avec organiser les livres. A 10:20 c'est temps pour la recre. Puis la cloche a sonnee est nous a entree. Cest temps pour la collation. 10:45 a 11:20 nous sommes a trouver les jeux de maths et aussi a joue les jeux sur les laptops. Les jeux que nous sommes a chercher pour cest les jeux de fraction/
pourcentages et les ecrires.

At 11:20 to 12:00 we were continuing with the book that we did yesterday
"Le Myestere du jeune Pharaon"we had to do page 16 to 21. Then it was time for lunch.
After eating our lunch we had to go out. At one o clock we helped the grade 4 class get started with there fsa we helped them get to the site not the questions. Then the primary classes came played games like bingo and a few more sorts of games. After we were writing are blogs like right now. Then we got are things ready to go home like are backpacks and started putting are things in are desk. then Home Sweet Home.

Maria and Aleeysha/ February 5,2013

       Today Me (Maria),  Sophia, Aleeysha, Jass and Aadilah  were in the library the whole time because Mr. Ng went with the grade 6's to Cypress Mountain for their ski trip. Mme Doolan was the librarian for today. So for the first half of the day we were shelving books and doing some work (travail du matin and français).
 
     Apres le recre nous avons joue les jeux de maths sur les laptops. Nous joueons 'Crazy Taxi'.  Nous avons jouer dans les laptops pour 30 minutes. Nous avons lu le livre 'Le Mystère de Jeune Pharaon.' Après le dîner nous sommes aidé la classe de M. Okada avec ses FSAs. Après, nous avons besoin de aider les 1ère, 2ème et 3ème année avec le jeu de BINGO!! Les Canucks ont gangne contre les Oliers dans heures supplementaires. Nous manquent vous!!

today we played math games on are laptop and we played with the grade 6 who didn't go skiing or snowboarding pretty fun we probably spent the whole time in the library except lunch when we ate in class right now were helping madam with the kindergarten to grade 3 class hope to see you guys again.

Aujourd'hui nous rester a la bibliotheque pour tout le jour mais c'est bon moi et mon ami cam ajouer le Hangman je gagner. nousdessine sur le tableau come le chicago logo, les person et un chat et nous avons lire un livre qui s'appelle ler mystere du jeune pharon.
