Natasha and Catherine - Feb. 3, 2013

Notre classe dans l'aéroport.

We are going to talk about our first and second day.

On the first day, we woke up early at 5:00-5:15 am, then we went to the airport at 6:00 am. Our class went to check-in and went through security. After, we all walked to the gate (which was A4). That flight to Toronto was at least 6 hours long. We stayed in Toronto for 4 hours long virtuly doing nothing. We had lunch and supper in Toronto. When it was the time to go on the second airplane, we had to switch gates. Finally, we were off to Québec. When we landed, we took our luggages and went to a man and a woman who were waiting for us. Then we got on to the bus and arrived to Auberge.

Natasha - Mes premières penses de Québec est le Québec est plus grand que j'avais imaginé.  Le Québec est plus nouveau que j'avais pensé. Les gens étaient très polis avec nous. Il y a beaucoup plus de niege que je penser aussi. Le Québec est très beau. Le rue Saint-Jean est dans le veuix Québec. Il y a beaucoup de magasins là.

Catherine - Quand je me suis réveillée , je me dit à moi-même << YOUPI >> Après d'arrivais à l'aéroport, je commençais de sens ennuyé parce qu'il n'y a pas de choses à faire. Dans Toronto, je suis très, très ennuyé parce que c'est le même; il n'y a pas de choses à faire. J'ai acheté des choses à manger pour perdre du temps. Quand nous sommes allées sur l'avion, je suis fatiguée. Après, nous sommes arrivé à Québec.

On the second day, we woke up not that early as the first day; and woke up by the sound of our teacher  Mrs. Hogg's knock.We got ourselves up and got ready for a delicious breakfast. After, we got dressed and went to Capital Observatory. We got a perfect 360 degree view of Québec. Then we went to Canada Odessey, we learned about the wars of Québec and surrounding time periods of wars. When that was finished, we had "school-made" lunch (which was sooo delicious). Then we went to the carnaval, we had to put on this "bonhomme toy" to enter the carnaval site. Our leaders told us that we had about 1 hour and a half of free time. So we went on this ice sliding using a sled. It was SO fun!! After we had a bunch of fun time, we started walk to the St. Jean Street. We bought several stuff. Then after diner, we went to this tower called "Martello Tower 2" We got to learn how to use muskets (of course, we did not fire). That was an exhausting day!

Natasha - J'ai aimé apprendre comment utiliser les mousquets. Je n'étais bonne à le faire (ou l'utliser.) J'étais un peu contente que nous ne les avions pas lancés.

Catherine - La chose la plus amusant était comme Natasha a dit; le Martello Tower 2. Quand c'était mon tour, le mousquet était plus grand que moi. C'était embarrassant. Le jour était mieux qu'hier. J'avais appris des choses intéressantes; comme qu'il y avait le bataille sur les plaines d'Abraham.
