Nicki and Hannah/ February 3rd 2013

           When we first arrived in Québec we were hoping that our baggage wouldn't be misplaced in the busy interworkings of the airport. There was a huge statue of Bonhomme Carnaval and everyone was posing humorously with the iconic québecois symbol. When we first walked outside we thought since it was -16 degrees C, we were going to freeze to death but surprisingly it wasn't, it actually felt like 2 degres C in Vancouver. When we finally arrived at Auberge du Mont, everyone was so excited/tired that as soon as we got our room partners we all passed out. I, Nicki McComb am rooming with the spectacular Julia Endean, and I, Hannah Thiessen, am rooming with the equally spectacular Rosemary and Catherine. In the morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and then took the bus to Carnaval, among many other amazing touristic sites. At Carnaval, Madie M., got picked to go on stage to be a princess and "marry" a very old prince. We thought he was at least 76.

       Après ça, nous sommes allés à la rue St. Jean pour la magasinage. Il faisais très froid!!! Presque tout la monde ont acheté un chandail qui dit "J'aime Québec". Les chandails sont très comfortable!!! Nicki et Hannah (nous) avons magasiné avec Rosemary et Madison V. Après nous sommes allés à la Café Buade pour mangé la souper. Nous avons mangé avec Rosemary et Madison. Elles ont mangé le poulet et nous avons mangé la lasagne. Ensuite après le Tour Martello # 2, nous sommes allé à l'Auberge du Mont pour se coucher
